Faith Statement
We Believe:
-
In Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior: We affirm that Jesus died for our sins, was raised from the dead by God, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf.
-
In the Holy Spirit and His Gifts: We embrace the work of the Holy Spirit and acknowledge all His gifts as described in 1 Corinthians 12.
-
In the Apostolic Doctrine and Fellowship: We uphold the teachings of the apostles and fellowship, practice the breaking of bread, and commit ourselves to all sort of prayers as exemplified in Acts 2:42.
-
In the Environment of the 5-Fold Ministry: We believe in equipping the saints for the work of ministry, building up the body of Christ until we attain the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, reaching maturity in Him (Ephesians 4:11-13).
In the Process of Salvation and Sanctification: We affirm that to be born again, one must receive the revelation of Jesus Christ. Upon this revelation, the spirit receives new life, making you a new creation in Christ—a transformation that begins instantly and continues as a process of sanctification. Daily renewal of the mind, dying to self, and aligning with Christ's mind (Romans 10:9; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:14; Romans 12:1-2) are essential for spiritual growth.
In the Eternal Salvation of Our Bodies: We believe that our bodies will be saved when Christ returns, as described in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54.
In the Nature of Positional Salvation vs. Practiced Sanctification: We hold that while we are saved positionally by grace (John 1:12-13; Romans 8:1-2; Philippians 2:12-16), it is our responsibility to work out our salvation by growing increasingly into the likeness of Christ.
In the Authority of the Word of God: Our lives are anchored in the Word of God. We adhere unconditionally to the Word of God—never compromising the Word to meet our personal needs, but rather we must conform our lives and love to iThis very same Word of God. (John 1:1, 1:14; 1 ; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 55:11.
